The Queensland Launch of Real Rape Real Pain
October the 11th as part of Sexual Violence Awareness Month was terrific!
The 9 wonderful workers from the GCCASV who made the event possible

Louise speaks about her story and the process of co-authoring Real Rape Real Pain

This amazing paper mache wedding dress between Di Macleod, co-ordinator of GCCASV, and Louise was made by GCCASV workers. The front of the gown represents the "fairytale" aspect of weddings and marriage. The back of the gown, however, comprises articles about marital/partner rape, representing the hidden side of the fairytale for many women.

An unholy trinity :): Louise launches the book between Domestic Violence worker Donna Justo and sexual assault worker Kelly, both of whose work comprises both sides of the partner rape issue.
